Bowl Week 3 Predictions/Week 2 Recap – #NCAABowlPredictions

We had a less than stellar week this week, going 1-3.  This week puts us at 3-4 for the bowls.  The Poinsettia Bowl was a let down but not surprising, the surprise came in Tulsa putting 62 on Hawaii in Hawaii’s home stadium.  We hope to improve this week.

On to week 2:

Little Caesar’s Bowl: Florida International vs Toledo.  The Rockets are an underrated team this year.  As much as we would love FIU to win (do you need a passport to attend the school?), Toledo should win this handily.

Independence Bowl: Georgia Tech vs Air Force. I am torn on this game.  Air Force has been a tough team this year, but I think GT will pull it off.

Champs Sports Bowl: NC State vs West Virginia. This was a tough pick but we are going with West Virginia only because they have a slightly better record.

Insight Bowl: Iowa vs Missouri. Iowa has been inconsistent all season.  Beating top teams and then losing to lesser teams.  This is one time I think the Big 12 has the upper hand.  It could be a close one though.

Military Bowl: Maryland vs East Carolina. Ironically the Military Bowl features no Military teams.  Since Pirates are enemies of soldiers, we are picking the Terps.  That and EC has disappointed us this season.

Texas Bowl: Illinois vs Baylor. This match-up should be interesting.  Two teams that were surprisingly better than I thought they would be this year.  I am picking Baylor after they beat some pretty good teams and because Illinois did struggle against some mediocre teams.

Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma State vs Arizona. Arizona has been spotty this season and Oklahoma State has been fairly dominant.

Armed Forces Bowl: Army vs SMU. This bowl does feature someone from the Armed Forces, unfortunately I don’t think it will be enough for Army to win their first bowl game in a long time.

Pinstripe Bowl: Kansas State vs Syracuse. Syracuse fans don’t have to travel far and I am still not sure about K-State.

Music City Bowl: UNC vs Tennessee. How many bowls are there and how many do I not care about?

Holiday Bowl: Nebraska vs Washington. Didn’t we already see this game this year?

Meineke Bowl: Clemson vs USF. Southern Florida pulls it off in the Oil Change Bowl.

Sun Bowl: Miami vs Notre Dame. I hate Brian Kelly.

Liberty Bowl: UCF vs Georgia. Picking David over Goliath, even though this would be geriatric Goliath.

Chik-fil-A Bowl: Florida State vs South Carolina. FSU returns to its bowl winning glory.

Ticket City Bowl: Northwestern vs Texas Tech. I didn’t know this bowl existed.  The biggest mistake TT made was getting rid of Leach because of that cry-baby-son-of-ESPN-douche James.  They will lose to Northwestern.

Outback Bowl: Penn State vs Florida. Joe-Pa wins a bowl game 300 years after his first bowl win and Urban Meyer slinks away to an ESPN desk.

Capital One Bowl: Michigan State vs Alabama.  MSU will show that they, not OSU should have made a BCS Bowl.  This will be a good bowl.

Gator Bowl: Michigan vs Mississippi State. Rich Rodriguez loses his job.

Rose Bowl: TCU vs Wisconsin. TCU will give a big fight, but Watt will put Dalton on his back a few too many times.  Which RB for WI will get 100 yards, I’m not sure.

Fiesta Bowl: UConn vs Oklahoma. Is there a BCS bowl that fewer people car about outside of Connecticut and Oklahoma?  This is the Sad Trombone Bowl.
