NCAA Top 25 Poll – #NCAATop25

If LSU v Alabama was the “Game of the Century”, we are going to have a boring century.  And don’t tell me it was a great match-up.  It was sloppy and terrible.  People keep raving on Stanford, but they haven’t looked that good the last two weeks.  At least to us.  Here is our Top 25:

1. LSU
2. Boise State
3. Oklahoma State
4. Stanford
5. Oregon
6. Houston
7. Alabama
8. Arkansas
9. Virginia Tech
10. Clemson
11. Michigan State
12. Cincinnati
13. Oklahoma
14. Penn State
15. South Carolina
16. Nebraska
17. Southern Miss
18. Georgia
19. Georgia Tech
20. Wisconsin
21. Kansas State
22. TCU
23. Michigan
24. Texas
25. LA-Lafayette/Arkansas St. (TIE)

Tulsa, Iowa, Ohio State, UCLA, and SMU are on the outside looking in.  As I said above, I haven’t been all that impressed with Stanford the last few weeks and I am confused as to how they are leap-frogging BSU in other polls.  Almost losing to USC in 3OT and then struggling against Oregon State.  If I were on one of the teams ranked just below OK State and Stanford I would be getting giddy.  They have shown weakness and that means you could be moving up for a shot at the National Title.  The bottom of the poll continues to be a revolving door.  And we are proud to say that we have had very little moving in the Top 5 all season, unlike the other polls.

There is always debate about who should be on a Top 25 Ranking. We decided to show something new this year. If you are ranked and lose, you are off the rankings until you win your way back on. You win your way on by beating a ranked team. If a ranked team beats a ranked team they get both rankings. If they later lose, they lose all their rankings. This is what the AP Top 25 would look like after Week Ten’s Action:
