NCAA Top 25 Poll – #NCAATop25

I kept telling people that Stanford wasn’t as impressive as people were making them out to be.  Looks like I was right.  Here is our Top 25:

1. LSU
2. Oklahoma State
3. Oregon
4. Houston
5. Alabama
6. Arkansas
7. Virginia Tech
8. Boise State
9. Clemson
10. Michigan State
11. Stanford
12. South Carolina
13. Oklahoma
14. Nebraska
15. Southern Miss
16. Georgia
17. Wisconsin
18. Kansas State
19. TCU
20. Michigan
21. Penn State
22. Arkansas State
23. Notre Dame
24. Cincinnati
25. Tulsa

BYU, Virginia, and Florida State are on the outside looking in.  There were a few shake-ups near the top.  Unfortunately for several people, there is a possible controversy involving Boise State.  People have begun to use the argument that they won’t win their conference so they shouldn’t be in a BCS Bowl.  It leads me to ask, Alabama won’t win their Division let alone their conference, how can they be in the National Championship.  Oklahoma didn’t move up because the team they lost to got slaughtered by Oklahoma State.  Pressure is on Houston, but there is still a chance that a 1 loss Boise State could still make a BCS bowl in addition to an undefeated Houston team.  A long shot, but still a chance.

There is always debate about who should be on a Top 25 Ranking. We decided to show something new this year. If you are ranked and lose, you are off the rankings until you win your way back on. You win your way on by beating a ranked team. If a ranked team beats a ranked team they get both rankings. If they later lose, they lose all their rankings. This is what the AP Top 25 would look like after Week Eleven’s Action:
