NCAA Top 25 Poll – #NCAATop25

I still think that Stanford isn’t as impressive as people are making them out to be.  As much as I hate Lane Kiffin, I have to say he is doing a great job with the kids at USC.  They would be in our Top 25 if they were eligible for post season play.  Once their suspension ends they will be eligible for our Top 25.  Same holds true for any other teams.  Here is our Top 25:

1. LSU
2. Houston
3. Alabama
4. Arkansas
5. Virginia Tech
6. Boise State
7. Michigan State
8. South Carolina
9. Oregon
10. Oklahoma State
11. Stanford
12. Georgia
13. Wisconsin
14. Kansas State
15. TCU
16. Michigan
17. Penn State
18. Clemson
19. Arkansas State
20. Notre Dame
21. Tulsa
22. Oklahoma
23. Nebraska
24. Virginia
25. BYU

Once again there were a few shake-ups near the top.  Unfortunately for several people, there is a possible controversy involving Non-AQs.  People have begun to use the argument that Boise State won’t win their conference so they shouldn’t be in a BCS Bowl.  It leads me to ask, Alabama won’t win their Division let alone their conference, how can they be in the National Championship.  I have gotten a hard time because people feel that I have been tough on Oklahoma last night showed why I have been.  Pressure is on Houston, I have them ranked 2.  I highly doubt that they will make the National Championship Game but they are the only undefeated team other than #1 LSU.  They are a long shot, but still have a chance.  There are still two weeks of football, so plenty could happen.

There is always debate about who should be on a Top 25 Ranking. We decided to show something new this year. If you are ranked and lose, you are off the rankings until you win your way back on. You win your way on by beating a ranked team. If a ranked team beats a ranked team they get both rankings. If they later lose, they lose all their rankings. This is what the AP Top 25 would look like after Week Twelve’s Action:
